U2 to hit O2 soon

u2.jpegU2 are considering a mammoth residency at the O2 Arena in London, it has been
confirmed.

The Irish rock heroes have previously been linked with a series of gigs at the former Millennium Dome, to top Prince’s 21 summer 2007 dates.

However, manager Paul McGuinness has now confirmed talks for the concerts are ongoing, as the band near completion on their new album.

The Godfathers return

We are proud to announce the return to the stage for one of Britain’s greatest ever rock and roll bands: The Godfathers.

The original line-up of Peter and Chris Coyne reunited with Mike Gibson, Kris Dollimore and George Mazur will play the 1st UK concert in 19 years for their traditional ‘Saint Valentine’s Day Massacre’ on February 14th 2008 at The Forum,
Kentish Town, London.

More selected European dates are also being announced. The reunion will see The Godfathers claim back their international status while promoting the expanded reissue of their independent debut album ‘Hit By Hit], now a double CD set, which will be available in February on the band’s Corporate Image label.

Prince tribute album to be released

Mariah Carey wants to try speed dating.

She said: “I really like the idea of speed dating. I like the idea of 15 mini-relationships each lasting three minutes and then you go home alone.”

Yeah Yeah Yeahs guitarist Nick Zimmer has remixed the track which will appear as the b-side to The Hives forthcoming single, ‘We Rule The World (T.H.E.H.I.V.E.S).’

newvideo.gifVeteran West Coast rapper, Snoop Dogg, is set to once again bark on wax with the release of his upcoming 9th solo album, Ego Trippin.

The album, which is set to drop on March of 2008 on Doggystyle/Geffen Records, will be the ninth solo set for the multi-platinum rapper. The set’s lead single, the up-tempo “Sensual Seduction,” was produced by Shawty Redd and will feature Snoop pulling double duty, both rapping and singing.

Madonna teams up with Pharrell

madonna.JPGThe ‘Hung Up’ singer has been in the studio with hit producer Pharrell creating tracks for her upcoming album, and he claims their collaboration will take the music industry by storm.Pharrell said: “It was crazy. I don’t want to say too much. I’d rather wait for you to hear it. It’s awesome though. It makes the speakers bleed. It’s hot!” Earlier this month, it was reported Pharrell had been recording with the 49-year-old singer at Record Plant Studios in Los Angeles.

Ozzy in Vegas

Ozzy continues the massive 40-concert North American round. The following place his show - The Joint at Hard Rock Hotel and Casino Las Vegas. The concert will recoup on Saturday, November 24th 2007.
This will be his first solo concert in Las Vegas in more than four years! By the way the special visitor of this concert will be Rob Zombie.
The tour follows Black Rain - Ozzy’s first album of new studio material in six years! year! Zombie’s hit film Halloween, which premiered number one at the box office in its debut weekend and broke all Labor Day Weekend records, grossing an estimated 31 million dollars. Who more abruptly, Rob or Ozzy? We are waiting your comments:)
